I usually hit the NY Renaissance Faire every year here in Tuxedo, NY. I know, I know... some people raise thier eyebrows at such a thing, but it's something to do on a weekend.
Anyway, last year when I went one of the craftsmen that makes helmets and chainmail of that period had a rooster there hanging out with him at his booth. I loved the rooster! (at that time I had no idea that I would have 8 chicks of my own the next summer). Anyway, I was delighted that he was there again this summer! He was quite the handsome fellow and very quiet... also he likes strawberries, too.
Here he is, the man said he is an English Game Bantam (?) I hope I remembered that right:
and if you look closely you can see his little tie/leash on his leg, but he seemed to like to hang out up on his perch more than anything.
