I have a hen with vent gleet that I usually successfully treat with Medistatin diluted in water using a syringe.
This hen seems to have a hard time with this.
I make a pill from coconut oil with the Medistatin mixed in it. If I put it in the freezer it quickly solidifies and it seems to easily taken by the hen.
Any of you tried this before? Would there be any concerns not to do this that I overlook?
