Meet Bonnie and Clyde

Try a spalding, like a 3/4 green, they do ok without heat.

Yeah spaldings would work or you can make an indoor place for the greens to stay when it is cold then for the warmer months or days they can go in an outside pen that could connect to the indoor place. The indoor area would need insulation to keep it a bit warm. If you need articles on how to build such a shelter or something I have found many green peafowl articles talking about indoor areas for cold weather that I could give you the link to.

I know of a guy in our area that at least had greens, his site disappeared. But he told me that he had a heated building for them. If he can do it in ND, you probably can in CT! I thought about it, but not something that I want to get into at least for now...

I love BS, you should send those to me!

I met a couple at the auction on Monday who had peafowl for sale. I guess when they were delivering them, the husband opened the box and one flew out. Took him a while to find him and catch him. Nice people, said they had more and when I mentioned how I'd like to have them again, but limited space and I can remember the noise from the ones I had years ago. The wife said she has never heard them be loud and they very rarely even make noise.

We're my peas and the other I've ever been around just extra load or does she have some really mellow birds? If I ever had space I'd love to have them again,

And I posted in a couple of threads about my Bonnie and Clyde, but they are AMs. Thing is I'm begining to think my Bonnie isn't a pullet. Just my luck.

Your Bonnie and Clyde are great. I hope you enjoy them for a long time.
