Omg how preciousThis little duckling was going to be tossed out, so I took him, in hopes of having a friend for grounder. There 1st meeting went successful & since the duckling "Webby" is alone, I made a guinea feather buddy for him to snuggle with. View attachment 3003525View attachment 3003526
There is no movement in the joint. I tried to move the foot but it won't move. I thought maybe a splint, but I dont want to do more harm or dislocate the leg. We were thinking some aqua therapy may help? Any suggestions? It's great to see that Grounder seems to be doing so well!
What's going on with Webby's foot? Does he have movement in the joint?
Holding the joint in a more natural angle is definitely something I would do. There are some nice splints for poultry being 3D printed, for example:There is no movement in the joint. We have been massaging it and are able to move it in a more normal position. We will keep doing it. And I will check your link.Holding the joint in a more natural angle is definitely something I would do. There are some nice splints for poultry being 3D printed, for example:
