Picked him up today at A poultry trades days, he's very sweet. His toe nails are really long and he acts like he doesn't want to walk around on the wire floor that's in the coop. Any tips on clipping his nails? The lady says he is two years old.

Use nail clippers to trim his nails. Only take off 1/4" every time. Trim them once a week.
It will take a while, but they will eventually get to a normal length. I did the same thing with my rooster when I got him.

Wire floors are not comfortable for them. They can snap off nails or injure they toes, etc. that sometimes get caught in the openings. It would be better if they had a solid floor in the coop and either deep litter, or pine shavings on it.
