We picked up our chicks on Sunday from tsc. Tag said Americana, I have since learned that Americana is just a fancy name for Easter eggers, which is fine with me. We got 4 chicks (for now) the light colored one is Jolene and the darker one is Goody we are hoping he's a cockerel. The other 2 not pictured are Clarice and Birdee (hope floats, not because she's a bird lol) I have watched a ton of you tube videos on how to sex a chick and there are clues that Goody may be a rooster, but I don't know. He lets his legs dangle when picked up, all the others tend to fold up. His wing feathers are different. I will try and get a photo of that when I get home from work. I do understand that at this age ( about 3wks) it's very hard to tell. Is there anything else I could look for to get a better idea? Thanks for looking.

At this age there is no reliable way to sex Easter eggers. 6 weeks is about the time to start. I am not seeing anything that makes me think either is a cockerel at this point.
