Be sure and contact the hatchery about either a refund or replacement for the roos. Any more than two would have me requesting the refund. No point in paying for their errors, especially since you will have to feed them even if you do rehome the extras.

She's otherwise appropriately colored but I was amused by her black beard.
That being said, Knuckles does look boyish. Faverolles are very pretty birds, so it wouldn't be bad to have a roo. You lucked out if your other roos are Dark Brahmas cuz I really like that breed!

That is a hatchery quality hen. I've seen some even darker than her. The first pic made me think roo for a second, but the second pic confirms without a doubt that SHE is 100% hen.

JerseyHen, what hatchery did you get her from? I have a (I hope) pullet that is a hatchery Faverolles that is coloring out in a crazy way too. I don't mind her color-- she's a pet-- but I am just curious.

Hen. I had a dark hen like her once. Not quite as dark, but close.

Cloverleaf is right. Definitely a hatchery quality pullet. Yeah, she has a lot of black but I've seen worse.

Yep, single combs and five toes!
