It was a time of great stress for me, they're like my kids. So after a few weeks, I was contacted and the people were in the town where I live, stopped over to look at them. The guy was asking a lot of questions and my kind of thought to myself 'Why would they even care what their names meant...just going to eat them'. So I was feeling kind of down and the husband was talking to me so I said 'Thank you, but I just don't want to know what you're going to do with them' he laughs and said 'What do you think we're going to do to them?. I looked at him and said 'I assume they're going to be soup or something'. He laughed again and said 'Oh hell no, my wife loves animals and wants some roosters on our farm, we don't eat our pets' I about cried (44-year-old three service veteran and parent) and smiled...Never felt so relieved in my life. LOL
Love this!!! I’m happy for you!! I know my roosters original momma had the same fears!
