Hi yall! Was here then tablet froze.. so not sure how long I’ve got
Things are okay here.. the chicken yard is the most disgusting, stinky, wet, mud hole ever! I’ve been debating on letting them out everyday but then I give in to all the clucking demands! Yesterday, today, and tomorrow has and will be in the 70s but Friday on it’s gonna get really cold! Like in the 20s at night! That’s pretty crazy cold here! So I do not plan to let them out for awhile.. and it’s supposed to rain again tomorrow
TRUMP has been going after Goosie ... if she comes around when he is tidbitting he will charge and peck her! So I don’t know what’s going on there.
Then today when we got home I looked out the back window to see Bunny running along the chicken fence “playing” with the chickens he must have jumped out of his yard.. which I did not think he could do! We had just put up a two foot fence around his cage.. which is the old mini coop.. so he could run around and have a bigger yard to play. Guess we are gonna have to make adjustments to that! Good thing I happened to see him and the dogs weren’t out! It was really lucky I saw him cuz we do not have fencing around our property!

I have that same issue here. MUD! Ugh. Our whole yard is a soggy, disgusting mess.

Oh the mud is awful! And today it rained like over three inches! Everywhere was flooded!! This pic is not from today but it’s what happens when it rains! This is looking off my back porch... this is just how it is! Believe it or not but the coop does not flood!

And yes... it was really pretty amazing that I saw him... he could have been gone so easily!

Thank you! I did! We had lots of fun at co-op. Today was Louisiana day so we had Louisiana strawberries.. and some king cake... and jambalaya ... had classes on LA history and cuisine and culture.... and some local places donated goodies...Louisiana Egg Commission also donated some fun things.. I got a chicken sponge and an egg shaped jar opener... and I got this hat that I wore ALL day.. yes, I was the only one walking around with this on
