This happened to me in our Dodge Ram, the floormats were given to us, but not made for our pickup! Now I make sure that the floormat is pulled back from the gas pedal!

Oh my goodness! Yeah.. I don’t think the floor mat is original to the car.. this car was given to us... I will be looking into this... well, hubby will be looking into it Thanks! And thank you.. @ChemicalchiCkns!

Hmm, the Feds say that yr vehicle has an open recall on it, if that is yours. "The accelerator pedal can get stuck in the wide open position due to its being trapped by an unsecured or incompatible driver's floor mat." https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls + VIN etched on the Glass.

Always should check recalls on vehicles.
Usually get sent notices. Some are a big deal. Some are not. Remember one if you put some extra crap on your keys might shut your car off.....

I checked the mat and it’s nowhere near the pedal.. so I should be good! Thanks again!
