The first one was nothing much of anything.. but this second one, Laura.. is pretty bad.. it’s headed towards the Texas Louisiana boarder... a friend of mine that lives in Lake Charles Louisiana is coming to stay out this way.. we are housing one of her daughters which is the girls friend.... and some of her animals. Lake Charles will get hit the hardest...

Is it my imagination or does Lake Charles seem to get a LOT of bad weather? I managed the 1988 (I think+/- a year, I'm old so memory???) airshow and we got hammered hard. Two class V thunderstorms merged over the airfield. Horrible mess. My team and I showed up at the hotel totally drenched and exhausted to find a plethora of locals wanting to buy us drinks. We convinced them that we REALLY I mean REALLY needed to shower and get into dry clothes before such an activity and even then we couldn't stay long as we had to be back at work at 0400.They do get a good bit of the hurricanes it seems.... and thank you! Believe it or not but there is no sitting water in the chicken coop!We are getting a little rain out if it though.. but this is a pretty normal accurance! Still need to get that drainage put in
