At peak season, my ladies would lay that many in two days. (That was a long time ago)

the little black ones are from a little feisty black bantam w green sheen, red peacomb, black legs n beak. Three of the darkest ones are from my AC x BR girls, and their brothers are the most likely fathers to all of these babies, but I do have a mixed bantam rooster that lurks around the flock waiting for his chance to pounce.
