19! honestly, I'd struggle to keep the names straight, much less provide all the tlc (and food and clothes) and keep my inner calm. I salute anyone who has the emotional athleticism to pull that off.

My grandmother couldn't. She spent every day emotionally disconnected from her 8 kids. She used emotional blackmail to bring them up and several of them grew up to have low levels of well-being.

I am an only child of only children. Even my parents' parents only had 1-2 siblings each.
No wonder I am an introvert! I literally cannot imagine a family with 11 kids.

I can honestly say that the ones that I personally know have the most well rounded children and adults... they have definitely done wonderful jobs raising these families ... I truly believe it is a gift.... to have them AND raise them right.. as unto the Lord.
Psalm 127:3-5 Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children are a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
