Having had two hens slide across the frozen pool yesterday, I don't think there will be any swimming today.

Oh, I know...can you blame a girl for wishful thinking! ;) I love this picture! Are the ice skating hens giving the pool a wide birth today? lol

Some of my hens are terrified of the pool cover and don't want to walk on it. So they try to fly the length of the pool to get from the coop to the deck. These pictures will help you to visualize the situation. Sydney, in the picture, could care less about walking on the pool cover.
