Meet my Chick!

Okay... have yall heard the rule about... when you lose one chicken you must replace her...... with four more šŸ˜„šŸ˜³View attachment 2567014View attachment 2567016View attachment 2567017View attachment 2567018
There are two EEs and a brown Leghorn and a white one... I hope @BY Bob doesn’t mind but I want to name the white one Daisy in honor of TGHE..... the brown one Minnie and the two EEs Betty and Wilma....
Some of these could change but for now that’s their names...

They are perfect ā¤ and I love the names.

It’s so hard to get pics of them... they never stop moving!

Hopefully she will settle down for you...did you try talking chicken to her...;) šŸ’ž

Oh no! I hope you get some sleep & everything is okay with her...poor little girl! I'm thinking about getting a brooder plate , I wonder if that would make a difference!
I used one of those hot plates when I got the little road runners. Not as adorable as a Momma hen of course - but I have to say it was pretty adorable how they would run in under there whenever they were cold or needed comfort. If something scary happened they would high tail it in under the plate. And they kept doing that long after I turned the heat off when they had a full set of feathers.
Next time I get babies I thought I might make a feather skirt for it using all the feathers the Princesses leave lying around - maybe that would be even more comforting for them.

I was wondering how well they would work...this good to know. The feather skirt is a great idea.
