Daisy is already perching.

Leghorns obviously perch early on. I was pretty surprised when Blanche began perching and flying before she was two weeks old!

They are much closer to actual flying birds than most chickens.

My first set of littles I brooded were ducks. Imagine walking into the brooder just to find it empty and 25 ducklings scattered about the garage. Thankfully, the doors and windows were closed. They were a week and a half old.
