Use a thermometer to check the temperature under the light. It should be 90 to 95 for the first week and then dropped 5 degrees a week until they go out side, usually at 6 weeks old.
That's great! I have that same poultry thermometer that I purchased from tractor supply. Keep an eye on it. Mine was on metal and under the light (where you are supposed to keep it) the stupid thing would retain heat and gave me inaccurate readings. I had one chick that wouldn't eat or drink and was always screaming. My temp showed 95. I placed a plastic back thermometer and it read the temp as 72. I was using a regular bulb. Once I started using the plastic back thermometer, I raised the temp and the chick started eating and drinking. You may not have any issues because of the red light, but just an FYI so you can keep an eye on it.
