Meet my new baby!

She seems lovely and better than that, from how you describe her temperment WOW! What a find! Have you thought about breaking her to harness? Between her build, temperment and her breeding, it seems like a great fit! If I ever get another horse, I know I plan on having one that will drive.

Anyway, congrats on your new baby!

She is beautiful! And from the size of her butt I would say an easy keeper too.
Congrats!

I'm pretty excited! .. I bought her bridle today. I still have to finish the electric fencing tomorrow morning and get some gates up. She's being trailered at 2pm and I gotta throw some hay out and move Luna over to the field next to hers. Luna is going for some ground manners training in the spring to another farm.

She is gorgeous, I have noticed that so many of us chicken people are also horse people. I have a quarter/appaloosa cross, and my husband has a North American Spotted draft horse...( and 8 hens, 6 guineas, a goat and four dogs)

Joyous - I LOVE NorAm Spotted Drafts! ... We also have a QH X pony mare who has arthritis and a bad attitude (she's going for training in the spring to another farm to work on her ground manners).

EVERYONE- Mylie is here! I was out when they off loaded her because I was getting horse and chicken feed and my mum tells me they unloaded Mylie and she was cool as a cucumber.
