All roosters are individuals with their own personalities.

People may tell you that a specific breed will have a specific temperament but that's no guarantee that they will actually have that temperament. For example, I have a Salmon Faverolles. Well known for being an extremely docile and good tempered bird. When my guy was young, I can't count the number of times he flogged me! We get along okay now after a lot of work and learning on my part.

Welcome. Your rooster is a handsome guy. Production Blues are a cross between Rhode Island reds and blue Australorps. He's not going to be flighty because he is too heavy. If you using him for chicks, the females should be good layers. As far as personality and temperament go, that really varies according to the individual, so there's no real way to guess what your guy will be like.
