I would like you guys to meet Sissy
She is a 4 year old Dutch Shepherd X Golden Retriever and is by far the BEST dog I have ever had! She has only been here for 24 hours but man has she made an impression and we are falling head over heals for her already.
Her Story:
She was got from "the breeder" (no sure if this is just someone that had an oops litter...which is my guess being that she is a cross...or not) from a married couple as a puppy. They are now getting a divorce and the husband took Sissy because the wife was unable to and threw Sissy outside on a chain!!
She is a dog that grew up in a house with the family and is a very people oriented dog and does NOT deserve that kind of treatment, so the wife had the sister in law come and take her. But she was only able to keep her for so long before she was going to be forced to take her to the shelter. She already had 2 other dogs and couldnt afford another. I found out about Sissy and we went to get her yesterday to keep her out of the shelter because we dont feel that she would do well in that situation (she is a very sweet and sensitive dog). But as the minutes pass by that we spend with her its looking like she is going to stay. My son is already calling her "his dog" LOL.
Anyway, enough blabbering...here are some pictures!!
