Well that celebration was short lived.... the buff chick is dead.
I dont know what happened, other than it was cooked. I haven't been able to see the glass thermometer in my incubator because the windows on my LG were fogged because of the humidity. So i went in and my humidity had dropped a few points, so I decided to grab the sponge to re-wet it. So I took it out quickly, wet it, and stuck it back in.
Only when i was putting it back in I could clearly see my thermometer which was at 120 degrees. I have NO IDEA how that happened. It was at 99.5 for 24 hours before I put the eggs in there and I haven't touched it.
Needless to say, I just killed 1 buff, 3 blue/splash, and 3 Serama eggs.
I am so disappointed I could sell all the birds right now... its a complete deflation.
