melamine layered wood bad

We are building a new duck coop.
There is melamine covered plywood that would work well for the floor.
Is melamine toxic to ducks?

I don’t know, but I wonder whether it will delaminate with the moisture.

We didn't buy it and went with vinyl covering the floor.
