Mello, non-aggressive roos

What is the best chicken breed for a nice roo? I am currently trying to plan on what chicken breed to go with after my 5 yr old roo is gone. I have heard faverolles and Wyandottes are good? Anything else? Preferably not bantams, or just not tiny.

Barnevelder, Orpington, Brahma.. so many great options. There will be variation between individual roos within a breed but our Cream Legbar roo is a keeper as well.

No problem!

Can't go wrong with any of those. I have barnevelder and wyandotte hens right now, no roos. Both breeds are beautiful but the barnevelders have a pretty special combination of beauty, relaxed temperament, foraging skills, and predator awareness.

Every Wyandotte cockerel I tried to keep would just mate excessively. That's something I don't care for. My Orpington have been really good roosters too.
