Welcome! I know that one lady here has a Yorkie that she's somehow trained to wrangle her chickens. Maybe you can do that, too! Good to have you join us!

That sounds amazing. My Yorkie has a good personality but a high prey drive so I’m not sure how she would do. Occasionally wild geese land in the pond by our house and on walks she will stop and watch them for awhile in silence. But most dogs, rabbits, mice, etc. she goes bonkers over.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I plan to push this even though we will be moving eventually. I find it silly that all cities on all sides allow unlimited chickens and we are not allowed any. They actually list chickens under the same ordinance forbidding cows, goats, swine, and horses. Which I find kind of comical. I have over an acre of property but I can’t have a few chickens? Crazy.
