Is my location good enough? I am actually exactly 4114.27 yards North of the PRK.

A lot of people tend to join because of a problem. Working out how to edit their profile is probably the last thing on their minds and it's probably not thought of again till they've been on long enough to want to work out how to put a signature. If you want newbies to add it maybe just let them know how in your hello posts.

Well, I hate to use the word mandatory, but when the thread is about winterizing for an example, someone in Georgia's ideas wouldn't work, say, in Wisconsin. And if you don't know where the person is from, how can you help?
I have belonged to a MC forum for years, and in your profile, you list where you live, age, birthday, etc. But you choose if the public/members see what you want them to see about you, or nothing at all, only the moderators.
But---- in every post on a thread, your state flag is there.
I think that would be very helpful here.

I like the state minus the flag.... If you look at some online test result for recognition of state flags, it might appaul you. I was even surprised I didn't know more than I did.

I should have mentioned this earlier but when you scroll over the flag, the name of the state pops up.
I'm sure that most of us wouldn't know that many of the flags.

I've noticed that many people put cutsie things where it says location, so that we know that they are very cool.
