Membership cancellation

I would just like to cancel my 'membership' in Back yard Chickens because their site was compromised and someone stole my password as a result. They do not have this option. I don't understand why. I want OUT. Please.

There is no membership unless you buy one.
It's not worth it to anyone to hack this site and steal just your password. Just don't log in.

What do you mean by membership? It doesn’t show you ahve one and I don’t know what use it would be for someone to just steal your password? @Nifty-Chicken do you think you could help although I don’t believe there is anything to deal with here.

To my understanding, there's no way to delete your account or deactivate it. How do you know that someone stole your password?

Hmm I see they probably mean their actual account not the premium membership, well for that I agree with @black_cat there doesn’t seem to be an option to just get rid of or deactivate your account.

Just to be clear: Passwords on BYC are "hashed" with very secure encryption, and nobody (not even I as site owner and my access direct to the database) can see what your password is.
