Hey! My name is Willie. Its Wilhelmina actually, but I like Willie better. I am a Sapphire Olive Egger, whatever that means. I live in the brooder with my other siblings. I won't get into the boring details right now so let's move on. Let's start at the beginning. I met her at a bright place with bags and people all around. I had been there for a while, watching people take the other chicks in the brooder with me. They walked around while they pushed around these red things that held the bags that were everywhere. Anyways, there she was. She stood there watching us along with a big people. This one had fuzz on his face and wore a duck beak on his head. Weird-looking really. He said some words to the girl then walked away leaving her there. She paced back and forth looking at all the chicks in all the different brooders. After a while the big people came back along with one of the workers. The girl said some words that I didn't understand to the workers. Then the workers reached INSIDE my brooder with his big people hands! I was scared so I ran as fast as I could. He grabbed four brown chicks, then 3 black chicks, then ME! I was put into a box with the 3 black chicks. I heard the workers guy reach into another brooder and grab some more chicks. I was breathing pretty heavy. So were the black chicks. There was some jostling that a jolt as we were set on the ground. I looked through the peep hole that was in the box and saw we were in the red wheely thing. We rode into a line of other peoples. I could see the girl people look into the peep hole of the box. It kind of scared me. Soon we were outside. I could feel the wind rustle through the peep holes. We wheeled right up to a big beige creature. It was really long and had round feet. There was a clang as the creature opened up and the other chicks and I were set inside. Then the girl people got in too. After a while there was another clang as the big fuzzy people got in too. Then a jingling sound then the creature roared awake. I couldn't see anything and the next thing I knew I was being set into a metal round thing with wood fluff on the bottom. The other chicks were set in too. It was watm so I fell asleep. And here I am almost 7 weeks later. Hi my name is Wilhelmina, Willie for short, and you are about to live my story.

Pretty sure she's a pullet. No pink or wattles at 7 weeks. Those feathers on top are just the crest that Sapphire Olive Eggers have.

Hey guys! I'm back. Here's the crazy stuff that went down today. Girl people took all of us chicks out today. There is a "picnic table" right outside so we like to run around, roost, and dust bathe around the "picnic table." So today we all ran around under the table having a grand time until she started grabbing us. We just got out there, why would she put us back in now? She grabbed one of the white chicks, it was Caroline I think. Maybe Opal. Anyways Girl people grabs her and sits at the table and we all hear a buzzing sound. We all ran around confused. I ran far away and the other chicks did too. Then she put the chick back to the brooder. Then it happened all over again. More buzzing. Then it was my turn. She picked me up and I let out a peep. I'm not no chick but I still peeped like a day old baby. Anyways, she brings me over to the table and held me tight as she picked up this long white thing. Girl people turned it on and it made a buzzing sound. She grabbed my toes and touched the tip of the buzz thing to my nail. It felt weird. She did that to all my toes. I was not a happy clucker. She then set me on the table and grabbed my head. Gently though with her people hands. I didn't it so I pulled away and she just grabbed me again. She put the buzz thing on my beak and it felt weird again but she was done soon. She brought me inside and put me in the brooder with the rest of the chicks. They had shorter claws and beaks now too. Oh well. I'm still a little mad at girl people for trimming my nails and built-in pecker but I will forgive her if she promises not to do it again.

Back again! A little upset with girl people today. She never took me outside to play. She cleaned the garage, where our brooder is kept and she kept the sliding opening open while she cleaned. I saw water dripping from the sky. Don't know if I wanted to go out anymore after seeing that.
