Mentally off duck??

She seems a little better today! e more on balance her eyes and notrils look fine. How do you look at a duck's ears??

Gently rub the fur feathers backwards to find it and use a very good strong flashlight, in a dark room... glad to hear she's doing better...

This is sort of good news/bad news/late news but for what it is worth. While chick feed is perfectly o.k. as starting feed for ducks it does not have the higher levels of niacin that ducklings require in order to develop healthy bones and well developed neurological systems. So, if you did not add niacin (usually in the form of brewers yeast) to their food when she was young she may have problems in those areas for the rest of her life. Sometimes better sometimes worse. Just watch for that and maybe try to locate some waterfowl vitamins, heavy on the B vitamins, to add to their/her diet.
