Just wondering when it is safe to combine all of my chicks? I have 4 chicks that are about 3 mos. old that have been out in their coop already, and I have 3 more that are about a month or month and a half younger in the brooder. Is it safe to combine them all out in the coop now? Don't want the young ones getting picked on.
Thanks for the tips!

i wouldnt. not yet.
all you really have to do (to get them used to each other) is give them "outside time" together. we are doing that right now with our 2 month old Golden Comets and our 1 month old assorted chicks
we've been doing this ever since we first got chickens. (we started by intergrating our New Hampshire reds and our assorted chicks, and everything worked out fine.
hope things work out :3

So, just bring the younger ones out in their brooder, and let the older chickens meet them through their wire-wall? How long will this process take before blending the chicks?

Thanks for the info!
