Merrick, Flock, and quail

Hi everybody, I know that this is generally a chicken forward for him, but I just figured you guys are the right people to ask this question to I have a Mareks positive flock. It was confirmed by necropsy. I have two chicken coops one with all vaccinated birds, and one with my original unvaccinated ones and some are vaccinated. My question is would it be risky to add quail? I keep getting mixed information from people and when I look online, the quail would obviously live in their own structure, but I just don’t want to purchase an attempt to raise them if it’s likely going to wipe them out I was wondering if anybody had any experience with this.

If you read this article in Merck Vet Manual, they say that quail can be affected by Mareks:

Since it is spread in feather dust and dander of the chickens, it would be difficult to control the spread I imagine.
