There is a build in the learning center that used a rolling tote for the feeder. You can feed a lot of chickens that way!

I made a bucket with 4 and it fed 20 hens easily. I had to refill it every couple of days though.

Another thing I'm wondering about here; If the birds are 'picking through' their food, is everyone getting a balanced diet? Is it mixed grains, with the vitamin/ mineral mix added, and are birds choosing the tastiest bits and leaving the rest? That's a bad thing, and at least the fussiest birds will be malnourished and have health issues.
