How how old are your girls?I have been trying different ways to feed to find out what's best. I know a lot of people put their girls food in the coop. I have been trying that, but it's such a mess and I'm afraid it's going to attract flies and ants in the coop. Is this best or should i just put it outside and pull it in at night? My chickens are gluten free so I make their feed and they like to pick through it causing a lot of the mess. Any help would be great thanks
I agree. No food in coop and only water. Easier to go without food than it is with water. No one likes the feeling of being thirsty, with food one can wait and not suffer too much. How how old are your girls?
Personally I do not put their food in the coop I do put water in their coop if going to be hot.
Awesome feed her instructions.! That seems like an awesome Ness free feed her. I’m afraid my chickens big heads would get stuck in them. Lol. I noticed you have a watering System made out of a 5 gallon bucket to. That looks extremely handy because no matter how hard I try my chickens love to run through their water with muddy feet. Even with the new gravity watering system I got for them I can’t figure out how they do it but they do. Chickens are craftyA video for making the bucket feeder with elbows
