Messy eaters

Is there any way to get the, to stop kicking so much food out of their feeder? They are 3 weeks old and we are using the mason jar feeder with the metal base.

Get a trough feeder.

Set it in a pie plate to catch the feed. Fermented feed is also harder to toss out.
