Met another BYCer today! Scott came up to get some BBS Orp hatching eggs and a couple of my Delawares today. Met Suede and the ladies. Scared him by saying something like, "oh would you like a couple of the blue Orp eggs?", confusing him for a split second for another member for whom I'm collecting Barred EE eggs, LOL. Brain glitch!! Sorry, Scott, LOL. Scared ya, didn't I? He left with BBS Orps and Barred EEs (two doz in all) and a Delaware pair I decided to let go from my breeding program. Enjoy those birds and good luck on your hatch!

It is fun! I have quite a number of members who live within and hour of me. And seems more and more folks who live close by are joining up.

i've noticed an increase also. i keep joking that i am going to go door to door and tell anyone with chickens in the yard!

Me too! It was lucky to find about five families that have chickens in the city. Small world and hopefully it will expand!

Not all of them are BYCers but they are sure so darn nice!!!!!!!!
