Metal ridge vent?

I am planning on going with a ridge vent. I didn't care for the $50 price tag on the plastic stuff, especially since you can't get it in a coop sized roll.

While digging around lowes I found these metal ones for pretty cheap and they come in 8' sections. Anyone have any experience with them?

Hi there! Plastic ridge vent sections are around $13 per 4' section at Lowes. I used the ones you see at the link above. They do not come in a roll and can be cut for fitting perfectly to ridge length. Super easy to install and come with long enough nails.

Thats what I got except mine were missing the material so I spent $11 on 2 of the 4' pieces; I figured it would vent better without the material anyway lol.
