If one level teaspoon of the powder weighs 2 grams, then those 2 grams of powder contain 400 mg of metronidazole.
A 5-pound bird needs ~113 mg of metronidazole once daily for 5 days.
If it were my bird, I would give 1/3 teaspoon or weigh out 0.57 grams of powder.
