I am thinking of getting a small flock from Metzers. There seems to be a range or pictures online on what the females can look like (sandy to silver). Has anyone ordered these? Pics to share? :)

I have bought duck hatchlings from Metzers several times, without any problems. So far, I've only bought one Welsh Harlequin. It is a female, and she is just gorgeous! The patterns and colorations are a marvel of nature. She's mostly white, with patterns that are tan and black, with some metallic green mixed in.
I will try to take some pix for you soon.

Love Metzer... Our Welsh Harlequin was a pretty gal and full of character too. All birds arrived alive on my known terrible shipping route.

Well my files are so little I can't see what I'm posting until it pops up. But here are my blue Swedish and chocolate Runner. Will post the Harlequin if I find her. She was a beautiful light color.

How many are you looking for? Holderread farms has really good stock and their prices are very reasonable. I am going to be ordering Welsh Harlequins from them when I add them to my flock.

You might have to wait longer but I think they have a reputation for very good stock.

Hope you find your Welshies.
I gotta recommend Holderread as well. Dave is the duck expert since he just updated new Storey's Guide about Duck keeping and he is breeding to standards. I do like the feathering of my hens and drakes....is more defined. Other hens appear to be too washed out. And yes, he's pretty reasonable.

My WH are from Metzer. I adore them but was disappointed they aren’t as close to standard as I would like. They also don’t lay as well as I expected. But I don’t regrete getting them for a minute. I went with Metzer because at the time I wanted only four sexed hens. I do have an order for this spring for more WH and some Saxony from Holderreads. Here are my girls now.
