chicks will come in feb. first time getting chicks from a far away hatchery.and the post office gets them to me alive!

I've purchased from them a number of times and honestly every time I have had 100% survival rate on the delivery. That said I've never had chicks shipped in the middle of winter. Good luck!

Yeah that Feb delivery can mean rough weather.

I would consider postponing until weather is more stable.....warm but not hot.

My daughter got chicks in Feb, a small order of 5 so they added 3 for extra warmth. All survived. Only one was a cockerel. So extra chicks are not always cockerels, in case you get extra and don't want cockerels.
