Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

They are bantams. Smaller than a silkie. Our's is a Mille Fleur (MF) but they come in other colors also. My friend has a lavender one and a MF.

And here she is on her own. As you can see she got a lot more white as she got older.
Beautiful bantam and very pretty eggs! I like the porcelain d'uccles as well. We aren't ready to have bantams yet, there are many other breeds of LF I would like to get first and I would like to have a separate coop and run for the banties. My husband and I like Silver Fawn Dutch. It's why he chose a Dorking.

Today on the fence, loved the silver edges of her wing feathers in the sunlight

Looking a bit less harsh. Love her fan tail.

A couple days ago, she's perched on the tip of a branch sticking out of the woodpile

Beautiful.

We have 6 bantams in with our LF. They all get along great. No need to separate unless you want to breed. :)
I also love our bantam cochin, snowball. Our bantam EE from Meyer is pretty but very skittish. She lays a beautiful blue/green egg though. :)

So it's day 19 and I went to put my eggs on lock down and found that 2 of them are pipping!!! So I put them on lockdown and the humitity stayed up in the 60s so we will see how it goes. This is my first time with an incubator.

I had some early birds my last hatch. Sure you counted right? Good Luck! What kind of eggs are in there? Exciting times!

Most are barred rock eggs. But I put in a couple of my white silkie eggs in there as well that's the one that was pipped. And as for an update it just hatched!!!! I suspected that the rooster is one of my blue silkies. She has access to some of my large foul roosters but the don't seem to mess with her much. It's black skined five toes and all black. I have 4 other eggs that are pipped as of now. And one of them has started zipping! Barred rock I think.
