Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

It's neat to see your BO, ours is so big already, but no wattles or much of a comb yet. When did she start laying eggs?

I want to say somewhere in the end of September or early October so right around 4 or 5 months.

I considered ordering from Meyer's, but it didn't seem like their selection was a broad. I've heard good things, though, so I think I will try them next time if they have the breeds I need.

Hatch day is the 7th!!!!!!!!! I am super stoked I hope they are as sweet as my first flock (I got them from Ideal, but had to cull some due to defects and won't be using them in the future)

MY CHICKS SHIPPED!!!!!! They are going to be here a day sooner than I thought! I went on the website and it said that the order was completed May 6, 2013! I'm literally freaking out right now!

Called the post office and they said that if they come tomorrow, they will be here between 6:30 and 7:30am. Looks like I'll be sleeping with the phone tonight!

Mine shipped too!!!!! I thought the hatch date was the 7th, but it was for the 6th I'm doing back flips right now!!!!! Hubby is setting up the brooder now. Has anyone used sand instead of shavings? (a little off topic, I know)
