I took some more photos today, and I just had to share this one with you! Ellie (My EE) wouldn't stop trying to peck my camera, and this is the photo I got

You're welcome! You are going to love your EE, BO, and Campine! They are all such sweet and unique birds! Plus they are very beautiful!

Are your Campines flighty? I think they are prob the cutest baby chicks out there! I'm even thinking about adding a 2nd EE, I love that they are all dif colors and I want some blue and green eggs.

I love my EE's. Not the friendliest right now but they are so different looking and I can't wait for the colored eggs. I ordered 15 total chicks and 4 are EE's. I originally had 2 on my order but was afraid if one died and one turned out to be a rooster I would have none so I upped it to 4!!
Not to be an enabler but I think you should add one to your order. Or 2

My Meyer babies went outside for the first time today!

They didn't stay out for long, though, because some kittens showed up and they were far too interested in my chicks. :/ So I let them romp inside for a little while to stretch their wings, and my Ancona, Rangi, picked up an old habit of hers again.

One of them is extremely flighty, and the other is very calm and sweet. I held them both the same amount when they were little. I think it all just depends on the personality of the chick. Even though my one is flighty, she makes up for it with her beauty ;)

:goodpost: Mine is a bit in the middle. She doesn't mind being on my lap and will tolerate if I move slowly and touch her wings, but she does NOT like her back touched at all! I love her sweet face, though. :love

I really hope mine is sweet! I really need to be blocked from Meyers. My bill for the chicks and ducks is already almost $170 and I check atleast half a dozen times a day to see if a female golden cuckoo marans is available for my ship day. Has anyone have any luck waiting for a bird to become available on your ship day? I'm really hoping all this persistence will pay off

How did you get the buffs I thought they were not available. Our chick math is just as bad! Got the ok to order 4 chicks then that turned to 6 cause some how 2 "packing peanuts" got into our order

then I saw a couple more I wanted and we really wanted ducks. So our 3 polish and sultan turned into 8 chicks and 3 ducks and I'm trying really hard not to add anything else. When you got the assorted silkies how many males did you end up with? I'm afraid to order any bantams from them cause I know mpc has sexed bantams so I didn't wanna end up with all the males they couldn't sell. I just don't believe it's really st run ESP when it says on some dates male only

I went online and I was able to put 2 buffs and 2 whites on an order for next week, then when I asked them to change my order she said it wasn't allowing her to put whites on there. I asked about the male only thing too since they are straight run but didn't get an answer.
I found a local person with white silkies that we are going to pick up today. After a couple days I'm going to cancel my buff order so you can have my two. ;)
This order is supposed to ship next week so I can't answer the assorted/roo ratio.
I don't think you have to worry about mpc taking all the girls. Meyer doesn't sex their bantams so either MPC doesn't get their bantams from them, or they sex them on their own when they get it (I'm suspecting the former).
