Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

I will, I promise. Yes, they were expensive. I paid a little over 100.00 for 3 chicks, but that was express shipping included in.

Shipping is how they get you! I have a total of 3 orders this year and spent over $120 in shipping alone.

Yeah, the shipping is brutal, but thankful that I could order as little as three. Oh, and no, Bentley doesn't have any confidence issues. LOL

Nope I called Meyer and the ducks did ship but I have no tracking # yet. And the chicks spent yesterday going in circles at which point my husband asked if we are gonna get dizzy chickens lol. They shipped from Mansfield to Cleveland back to Mansfield and I haven't had any updates since last night

I rcd five new chicks from Meyers today. So cute but concerned about the white leghorn. She's not ad active as the others, I have to force her to drink and she wont eat. Im hoping she'll get more energy and perk up.

A lot of people have had luck with vitamins and electrolytes in the water and moistening some food for them. Me, I lost a ton even though I did all those things.
I hope she perks up for you!

Here is our EE's double yolker egg, it was yummy!


I went out today and Oreo laid her 2nd egg and it looks like a double yolker too!


This is her egg from two days ago compared to the giant one today. I thought it was my other BR laying these light eggs, but I caught her today. She is laying her eggs in the hardest corner to get to underneath the roosts. I put a big cement block there to hopefully encourage her to lay somewhere else.

Here is my stupid question for the day, if it was fertile and you let it hatch would it be 2 chicks or 1?
