Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

Here are my chicks from Meyer this year - about 3mo old in this pic: 2 SLW, 2 Welsummer, 1 Barnevelder, 1 Golden Campine and all appear to be pullets as ordered.

VERY pretty... love the SLW's. Are they friendly or standoffish? Make sure you post pics of the Welsumer eggs!

Thank you, she is, we've had a crash course in vertigo this week, not fun. Everyone thought she had a stroke, so we are happy that it was vertigo.

I so agree with the EE's. My new two chicks are 3 weeks on Monday and they are starting to get some of the multi colored feathers in on their chests, so far both look like girls. It is strange one was chipmunk coloring and one was solid brown, but now they are starting to look more alike then ever. The legs are changing to green too. It was like overnight.

My husband has been awesome lately. I had to help my mom a lot this week, going to the hospital and her place, etc. He has stepped up and has made sure all the chicks and chickens are okay. We had just moved the chicks to the coop the day before she went to the hospital, so this is a crucial time for them. He really has been such a great guy to take over my chicken chores. He even goes out and sits with them and has been training the little ones to jump on his hands for treats. Such a great guy! Sorry, had to brag. It's been such a stressful week, so it was great to have help. My daughter has helped so much this week too. I usually do everything, so big relief for me.
We need some new pics of chicks... especially EE's whenever you have time. I know you're busy! So glad it wasn't a stroke.
Sounds like a GREAT hubby you have. Such peace of mind that they will help when needed and you can leave if you have to. You're very lucky. Well, not lucky, you chose correctly :)

I am so glad I'm not the only one lol. We got 16 chicks on our last shipment and 2 died so I told mine that they were sending me replacement chicks and it wasn't safe to ship less than 15. He doesn't seem mad but wants to know why I need 30 chickens. He also thinks we aren't paying for the new shipping

Hopefully our DH's don't come on here and see the REAL deal!!

I REALLY want both the bcm & welsummer but I already have 6 on my order after I'm done getting rid of the cm & 2 extra polish from my last order. My husband thinks we are only getting 4 more and he wasn't thrilled about that! So idk how I'm gonna explain 4 extra chicks. Plus he thinks I got a "free shipping coupon" and it's only costing like $20, I was hoping he wouldn't notice the $60+ difference

And I LOVE izzy, She is prob my fav chicken! & your BA's are so pretty, making me want one! I have 2 more EEs on my 9/30 order. I love how its like a surprise, you never know what color your gonna end up with or what color egg they will lay. What age did yours end up getting their adult colors? Is it me or do some of your eggs look pink? I love your egg tray btw, I'm looking for one but haven't found one I really like yet.
I'm so sorry, I really hope your lav orp. Pulls thru! I'll be thinking about her.
I do think some eggs look pink but my family keeps saying cream but they're all boys so what do they know right! I'll say pink-ish and it will make me happy. Plus the more they lay the color changes-lightens so they may get a bit more pinkish. But, they are what they are and I do enjoy being with them. I never thought I'd like them so much

LOVE your 'free shipping coupon' idea!! I don't even remember what I paid for shipping... did I pay that much?? Wow. But it was worth it. When people ask me what a chick costs and I say around $3 they can't believe how cheap they are but that's without shipping of course.
I love Izzy too but boy she's such a spazz if she is ready to lay an egg. She paces back and forth and goes in and out of the coop for hours till she finally lays it. But it's all worth it for that green egg!! As far as how old until I could tell their colors... I don't think I could tell until they were about 6-8 weeks and then they still changed a lot. I could always see it better if I took a picture of them. Then I would really notice the colors.
AND I am a HUGE thrift shop shopper (we have about 10 in a 30 minute radius) so I found that about 2 days ago in a thrift shop... perfect condition and only $2.00! Can't beat that! It is very Autumn looking so I think I'll have to find one for every season!

Look what the other naughty girls did to poor Sunni's comb today.

Lol my husband would have a cow if I did that!
I am so sorry for your losses. I hope the lavender orp pulls thru. So many at once, so sad. Thank you, she is, we've had a crash course in vertigo this week, not fun. Everyone thought she had a stroke, so we are happy that it was vertigo. I want a BCM in the future too. It is hard getting the husbands to agree with our chicken endeavors. Maybe we do need them though to keep us from getting too carried away!

You should have eggs soon and a variety of colored eggs too.
Does your husband want to come and give my husband a lesson or 2?! I have to stay at my parents for a week or so In a couple weeks to watch my grandma while they take care of something's for her in FL. Which wouldn't be so bad if they didnt live 30 mins away so I have to make the drive at least once a day to come take care of everyone.

 that's why my iPhone & iPad have a pass code on it!! I would be in soooo much trouble if he saw what I was really up too. And I agree with you it's pinkish! On 3 orders I've spent over $120 in shipping. My silkie hen will be 19 weeks tomorrow, so I'm very impatiently waiting for her to lay. You can't beat that for $2 ESP when anyone I've seen was at least $20 and they didn't look as nice as yours IMO.
:hit My lavender orp died. I couldn't save her, I want to cry , she was one of my favorites. Why does this always happen with your favorite!:hit
I'm so sorry, I would at least call and let them know tho. It doesn't hurt to try. Could they be getting trampled in the brooder? ESP with over 50(?) chicks in there
