I can't embed it but here is a video of a silkie hatching
I just took a video of another silkie hatching too. This one took a lot longer to get out of the shell but it was fun to watch. I'll edit it down too.
I know you aren't supposed to open the bator but the chicks had scattered the eggs to the far sides so I put them back to the middle and huddled together again. None of these last ones have pipped yet still. But I listened to a couple of them and could hear cheeping so it shouldn't be much longer.
That video is great. It is just amazing how those little ones use every bit of strength they have to get themselves out. I'm exhausted from watching!
