Has anyone seen this commercial? I didn't see it on tv but all my friends keep telling me about it so I had to look it up!

On a lighter note, do your girls pour out of the coop when you open the door in the morning? This is pretty much what it looks like here every morning, they wait by the door for me to let them out. Our little Doxie likes to circle the run too. Now if I can just get them all back in at the same time in the evening. What time do you guys lock up for the evening? We have been going out 7:30 - 8. Some will already be perched and some still out pecking around. Free at last . . . I just love that!!
[/quote] Our girls are definitely in by 8; at 7:30, there are usually a few stragglers. The later the sunset, the later the bedtime! I have an automatic door with a timer but I haven't set it yet because am afraid in will lock someone out! Lol

Here's some new baby pics... 5 1/2 weeks old... Patty Patty the white Silkie Zsa Zsa and Eva I like showing the baby EE's and the progress pics... so Lola on the left and Lilly on the right (3 days old) Here's Lola: and Lilly on the right... a CCL on the left I can't figure out Lilly's coloring yet... her back looks like she may be getting some blue in it? I know Lola's coloring is pretty typical of EE's but I never had one like her... did anyone else have a chick that looked like her and pics of what they look like now? I would love a buff looking one... maybe?? Lola is still the most daring and my friendliest.
So beautiful! Eva and Zsa Zsa crack me up! They are adorable, dahhhling!

I love seeing all the pics of the new chicks!!!

I'm wondering if Meyer's is EVER going to add any female Cream Legbar chicks to the July 14 hatchdate... I'd hate to break the website again!

We picked up a couple more chickens yesterday and today. We got 3 1wk old copper maran (2 black and 1 blue) yesterday from someone that hatched them locally. My friend is taking 2 of them and we're keeping one. Unfortunately they are straight run so fingers crossed there's at least 2 girls in there.
Today we drove up to a farm that orders from cackle (I think). We picked up 3 BR, 2 RIR, and 2 GLW for my realtor and his neighbor. DD picked out an EE/cochin mix for herself, and our friend picked out 4 week old EEs and a 12 week old EE. I'll try to get some picks of the ones we're keeping.

I had the feeling today that I need to stop buying chickens for this year. I'd like to save some breeds for next year. We'll see if the feeling lasts though. lol!

Oh wow, so adorable. they are growing fast!

Here's Olivia at different ages. She has the gray blue coloring now.

and Maddie...

she ended up with a black head

She turned out so pretty, I wish I had her longer then I did

Wish I could figure out a way to get another one like her.

and here are some pictures of my other two EE's Ellie and Greta

Not sure if these pics help, but it's fun showing off my EE's!

I hope that you figure out what's going on with your chickens soon or maybe time will just resolve all the issues, it sounds like you have a lot of good plans in place now to get her healthy again.
