Ok folks. Anyone care to hazard a guess on this little, one-week old?

I'm thinking it's a female Black Sex Link chick. That bit of copper colored down on the front of its face is from the RIR father and as it feathers out, if it's a BSL, it will have black feathers with copper or reddish colored feathers in the neck area.

I agree with the other thread...Gold Laced Wyandotte...you can see the rose comb, and the golden feathers around the face indicate gold tones to come.

SLW and GLW are very hard to tell apart in the first few days until the GLW's gold up a bit.

Good eye. I completely missed the rose comb. :o)

At four weeks old, I believe those that guessed Golden Laced Wyandotte were correct!
