Meyer's 17 week old pullets

I got my Meyer pullet a month ago and I was shocked to sh** when I opened the box. The bottom was cut back 1/4 inch, and the top was cut back within an 1/8 of an inch from her nostrils. No it won't grow back. It seems to me that she had to learn to act like a chicken. She pecks and pecks and pecks at grass, bugs, and stuff on the ground, but can't pick it up, and eventually gives up. I just wish I could give her her beak back, it breaks my heart.

I understand that she will be beaked, the new problem is that my receipt stated one price for shipping and they charged me $45 more! I emailed them NOT to charge my credit card as I had a printed copy of my invoice stating the shipping charge. I called my bank, and they said to hang on to the rec. and call Meyer in the morning on Monday. They have already put a hold on funds on my credit card..we shall see if they respond to the email come Monday. Gee, maybe somebody should fix the glitch in their website???
