FRENCH Marans have feathered legs. American Marans may or may not have them. So yes naked legs exist on Marans.

Doesn’t look like a male? I know they aren’t sex-linked, but I thought a lot of white was suggestive of a boy. My order was three bantams (those went to my work friend), a leann’s, a houdan, and the rest were dual-purpose. I guess the meal maker could go either way ...
