MHP is this too high?

Do I have to flatten this down more or is this good for day(ish) olds? Thank you in advance!

Hard to tell in pics but I think too high. They should be able to touch it with their backs. In going to guess 3 inches at least in one area.

That will be too high...a soda can is well above the back height of a chick and they need to be able to make contact with the underside of the MHP
