I just wipe it off often. I only have 8 chicks though and it's quite a mess, so I'm imagining double the mess.. lol. I wipe with kleenex or paper towel everytime I see it with some poo on there, and then at least once a day, often right before bed I scrub it clean with a hot soap wash cloth because my girls like to roost on top of it at night.
